A specially contoured frame heel makes the Bobcut easier and more comfortable to conceal. It also has plenty of add-ons found in higher priced guns such as a non-skid combat trigger, skeletal hammer, fully adjustable Novak-type rear sight, enhanced beavertail safety, and stippled front strap serration.

I bought this gun a couple of years ago at Academy in Humble Tx. I was surprised that they sold them as this was not typical for Academy. I compared a Smith and Wesson alloy frame Comander that cost 450.00 more. I really don't like alloy frame 45,s. I have been 100% satisfied, great shooter and while not an everyday carry gun, I do carry it from time to time.if you are looking for a well built Comander size 1911, you would have to look pretty hard to be this one.
